Polish NSO to play at Grand Theatre
THE first musical performance of the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra took place on November 5, 1901 in the newly opened Philharmonic Hall. The artistic director and principal conductor of the orchestra, Emil Mynarski, conducted the inaugural concert.

Art auction

Duoyunxuan Art Auctioneers' will put its collection of 650 contemporary and ancient calligraphy works, paintings, porcelains, antiques and rare books under the hammer in its 2000 Spring Auction, one of its two large auctions every year.

Open air concert

Various bands from star hotels in Shanghai will play live music every Friday evening to add more colour to the beautiful scenery in the Central Greenland in Pudong's Lujiazui.
