Kyung-Wha Chung trip postponed VIOLIN maestro Kyung-Wha Chung has decided to postpone her trip to Shanghai due to illness. Her concert, originally scheduled for April 23 at Shanghai Grand Theatre, will now be staged on May 9 at Shanghai Concert Hall. Chung caught a severe cold due to fatigue and doctors have advised she should not hold performance for the time being. The concert by Kung-Wha Chung, one of the world's top three violinists, was big news in town and more than 1,000 tickets have been sold already. Shanghai Foreign Cultural Exchange Agency, the sponsor of the concert, said Chung wished to apologize for any inconvenience caused. Chung tried hard to arrange the earliest next date possible to come to Shanghai. Since the Shanghai Grand Theatre won't be available on May 9, a decision was made to move the concert to Shanghai Concert Hall. The sponsor of the concert will refund tickets for those who wish.
