China's big cities go for brandname suits
WHICH are the most popular labels for casual suits in China? BALENO, JEANSWEST and GIORDANO are the favourites according to a survey conducted by Donghua University, originally China Textile University.
The survey conducted in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou found tastes varied according to which metropolis respondents inhabited.
The simple but fashionable cut of BALENO suits attracts Shanghainese with its wide collection of bright colours. People living in Beijing, however, are more likely to buy a classic JEANSWEST outfit. GIORDANO with its Hong Kong style appeals more to Guangzhou people, neighbours to Hong Kong. (Star News)
