Young Ukrainian Chinese artists due
TWO young artists, pianist Alexey Koltakov from Ukraine and Gu Chen, a Chinese violinist now living in Australia, will be spotlighted in the Shanghai Concert Hall next week.

London Circus
The Royal London Circus performs most of the nights till February 8 in a huge tent at the intersection of Zhongshan Road N. and Guangxin Road.

Chinaware fair

The Jinlian Porcelain Commercial Building near Hongqiao Airport is holding a ceramics fair. In celebration of the new millennium, ceramics from Jingdezhen, known as the capital of chinaware, will be sold at a huge discount, with prices 30 per cent lower than the city's average. The fair ends on February 8.
