THREE leading eyewear brands - theo, l.a. Eyeworks and Francis Klein - held a show for their 2005 collection in Xintiandi's Modern Sight on May 21.

Alain Bekaert, senior eyewear consultant for theo, wearing a pair of overstated glasses, said: "Each type of eyewear can find a suitable wearer." Theo's collection which looks avant-garde and exaggerated can change the wearer's look in a second.

The l.a.Eyeworks glasses reflect an American understanding of high-level living as a combination of art and practicality. The lightness of these items makes for comfortable wearing.
