TO celebrate the launch of 35cl mini bottle of the orange-based liqueur Cointreau in the China market, the French distiller held a "Cointreauversial woman" party at Bar Rouge at Bund 18 recently.

As explained by Jean-Marie Laborde, CEO of Remy Cointreau Co Ltd, "daring, seductive, complex and tender" are the characteristics of the group of women the liqueur suits.

Women attending the party were made to feel like celebrities, walking down a red carpet and being served by their personal waiters. Dazzling spotlights surrounding them, making each woman feel as if she were in the limelight for the night. A selection of the definitive "Cointreau woman" was also held during the party. Xiong Yi, an accountant won the title for her stylish orange silk tunic top and for being witty and elegant in the Cointreau style.

A flow of cocktails - Margaritas, Cosmopolitans and White Ladys, in which Cointreau serves as the key ingredient - were served for all the women party lovers.
