Jeans for disco cowboys

THE show to display the spring/summer collection of Lee and Wrangler is going to be a little different this year.

The usual T-stage catwalk will be gone. All the new season's pieces are hung on the shelves where visitors can choose any piece and match them in any way they like.

"Jeans can have various styles if you match them with different accessories and clothes," said Kent Tang, product manager with HD Lee Apparel Ltd. "Jeans really are lots of fun."

"There are new styles and ideas for the new year. Denim itself gives a feeling of freedom. So we don't want to restrain anyone with matches made by our designers, but let people express themselves instead," said Marcello Chu, brand manager of Lee and Wrangler.

Super hip-huggers, big bell-bottomed pants and loose cut are the focus of this season's collection of Lee with a rock&roll theme.

In addition, Lee designers express the theme with "unfinished design" which includes handicraft style, oblique neckline and patchwork.

Wrangler follows its absolute classical style. Casual fit jeans are designed in a very comfortable way.

The highlight in the Wrangler collection this season is the Wrangler Authentic and 13 MWZ lines.

Wrangler 13MWZ was created in 1947 for the working cowboy. The jeans are durable and practical, built to withstand wear-and-tear and can be said to be the real "cowboy cut".

With these basic pieces, matched with different top wear, colourful socks and stockings, hats and accessories, jeans can create profiles for both office and disco. Just look at the images Star has designed for you! Perhaps you will find some inspiration.
