PEOPLE with moderate means will be happy to learn they can dine at the Grand Hyatt.

Food Live Chinese Restaurant offers meals for only 45 yuan ($5.4) per person.

Located at level B1 of Jin Mao Tower Observatory Entrance, the restaurant is Grand Hyatt Shanghai's casual Chinese restaurant. It serves dishes with a variety of regional flavours, along with pizza and deli sandwiches.

A set menu with main course, soup and soft drink is available for as little as 20 yuan ($2.4).

The nine Chinese and Asian food stalls include Shanghai dumplings, claypot specialities, southern fried chicken, Chinese bakery, noodles and congee, Asian specialities, wok specialities, Cantonese BBQ and Hainan chicken.

The roasted chicken rib is delicious and not oily. The set also includes some vegetables and soup. The price is only 22 yuan ($2.6).

The contemporary interior of this food court is tastefully decorated with salmon coloured marble, glass, brushed stainless steel and stylish blue glass sconce lighting. Each of the stalls features a show-kitchen so diners can see the food being prepared by the chefs.
