vice chairman of Wuhan City Scientific Association, and concurrently
directer and Party secretary of Wuhan City Engineering and Scientific
Research Center, 1975-1982.

of CPC Wuhan City Committee; mayor of Wuhan City, 1983-1986.
Became deputy secretary of CPC Jiangxi Provincial Committee, acting

governor of Jiangxi Province, 1993-1995; secretary of CPC Jiangxi
