Moreover, the important "Three-Represents" theory on CPC- building by Jiang Zemin, general secretary of the CPC's Central Committee, will imbue all the Chinese with fervent enthusiasm for participation in the country's modernization drive, the editorial continued.

Under the "Three-Represents" theory raised by General Secretary Jiang, the CPC must always represent the development trend of China's advanced productive forces, the orientation of China's advanced culture and the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the people in China.
