Yu Zhengsheng appointed CPC head of Hubei (12/07/2001)

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) has recently appointed Yu Zhengsheng as secretary of the CPC Provincial Committee of Hubei, instead of Jiang Zhuping.

Jiang will be appointed to another position, according to an announcement of the CPC Central Committee.

Jiang Zemin, in his report to the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, said the Party's door is open to all positive factors of the society, including private entrepreneurs, foreign-invested firm employees, self-employed businessmen and freelance professionals, he also said that the Party should advance with the times.
