organ marks CPC's 81st anniversary (07/01/2002)
The People's Daily, official newspaper of the Communist Party of
China (CPC), publishes an editorial Monday marking CPC's 81st founding
anniversary.
The editorial urges 64 million CPC members to better understanda
series of CPC leader Jiang Zemin's instructions on party-building,
and do a better job in the country's reform and opening-up to the
outside world.
The newspaper calls on the whole party to unite under the Party's
central committee with Jiang Zemin at the core, and strive to promote
reform, development and maintain social stability, so as to greet
CPC's 16 national congress to be held in latter half of this year.
