Liao Xilong, male, 62, Han nationality, native of Sinan, Guizhou Province, was born in June 1940. He joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in February 1963 and joined the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in January 1959. He graduated from the Basics Department of PLA Military Academy. A junior college graduate, he holds the military rank of general.

He is now a member of the CPC Central Military Commission, commander and deputy secretary of Party committee of Chengdu Military Command.
