The preparatory meeting of the First Session of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), held in Beijing Sunday, decided the session agenda as follows:

- hearing and deliberating a work report of the Standing Committee of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee;

- hearing and deliberating a report of the Standing Committee of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee regarding its proposal-handling work;

- attending the First Session of the 10th National People's Congress as non-voting observers, hearing and discussing about theGovernment Work Report and other relevant reports;

- electing the chairman, vice-chairmen, secretary-general and members of the Standing Committee of the 10th CPPCC National Committee;

- deliberating and adopting a political resolution of the First Session of the 10th CPPCC National Committee;

- deliberating and adopting a resolution on the work report ofthe Standing Committee of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee;

- deliberating and adopting a resolution on the work report ofthe Standing Committee of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee regarding its proposal-handling work and;

-- deliberating and approving a report of the Proposals Examination Committee of the First Session of the 10th CPPCC National Committee regarding the examination of proposals submitted to this session. Enditem
